There is a product by L'Oreal called White Perfect, a deep whitening moisturizing cream whihc has melano-block x2 and vitamin C. My mom got it in HK and gave it to me. I decided to read the back of the box to see what this "dermatologicallly tested on Asian skin" cream does... Here are a few select quotes:
"After advanced research on Asian skin, L'Oreal Skincare Laboratories invent a new generation of WHITE PERFECT formula with 2 times more Melano-block, Vitamin C, and Micro White Pearls."
"Specially adapted to Asian skin, they produce blue light relfection to neutralize the yellowish complexion, wihtout any covering effects."
"It provides ultimate protection against skin darkening and the appearance of brown spots."
Bascially, it makes your skin "fairer," "clears off dark dead cells," and "helps slowing down skin darkening."
Wow. I am so insulted.

But isn't that what the Japanese want?
So the marketing tag-line would be "Michael Jackson tested ... Asian approved."
